reproduction, distribution, adaptation, or public

requires my prior written consent or a license

I will remove the link immediately.

Privacy policy
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Kai Hartwig
[Street and number]
[Postcode] [Town]
Germany
Email: [your-address]@kaihartwig.com
I am not required to appoint a data protection officer, as the legal
conditions for doing so are not met here.
2. In brief
This website is deliberately built to be frugal. It sets no cookies, it
embeds no content from third-party servers, and it uses no analytics or
tracking tools of any kind. Fonts, images, cover animations and audio
files are all served from my own server. For that reason no consent
banner is needed — there is nothing to consent to.
I process personal data only where this is technically necessary to
operate the site, or where you provide it to me yourself.
3. Visiting the website: server log files
When you open a page, your browser transmits technical data which my
hosting provider records in log files:
- the IP address of the requesting device
- the date and time of access
- the name and address of the file retrieved
- the volume of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
- the previously visited page, if your browser sends it
- the browser and operating system used
This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the site, keep
it stable and detect attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
my legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of
the website. The data is not combined with other sources and is not
evaluated for advertising purposes.
Log files are deleted automatically after [number] days.
The website is hosted by:
ALL-INKL.COM — Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich,
[address as per contract], Germany.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place
with the host. The servers are located in Germany.
4. Contact form
If you write to me using the form, I process:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject and text of your message
- your IP address
- the time at which the message was sent
Your name, email address and message are needed so that I can reply.
Your IP address is stored solely in order to fend off automated bulk
submissions: no more than three messages per hour are accepted from the
same address.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed
at entering into a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — my
legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in protecting the site
against misuse.
Your message is stored on the server and additionally forwarded to my
email address. It is not passed on to any third party.
I delete messages as soon as they are no longer needed, and at the
latest [12] months after the matter has been dealt with. Where the
contact leads to a business relationship, the statutory retention
periods under German commercial and tax law apply.
Providing this data is voluntary; without it, however, I cannot reply
to you.
5. Contact by email
If you write to me directly by email, I process your address and the
content of your message in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal
basis and the deletion periods correspond to section 4.
Please note that email may be transmitted unencrypted on its way to the
recipient. For confidential matters, post or a phone call is the safer
route.
6. Storage in your browser by the audio player
This site sets no cookies. The player does, however, store a few
technical values in your browser's local storage, and only once you
start playing a track:
kh-lautstaerke the volume you have set
kh-player-zustand which track is playing and at which position,
so that playback does not break off when you
move to another page
kh-welle-… the calculated waveform of a track, so that it
appears immediately next time
kh-peaks2-… the same, for the duration of one visit
These values remain on your device. They are never transmitted to me or
to anyone else, they contain no personal data, and they serve solely to
make the player behave the way you asked it to when you started a
track. Access is therefore exempt from the consent requirement under
Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services
Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
You can delete these values at any time through your browser settings.
Playback will continue to work exactly as before; only the volume
setting and the waveforms will be determined afresh.
7. Links to other providers
The album pages contain links to streaming services and to the
production music libraries through which my albums can be licensed.
These are plain links: no content is loaded from those providers and no
data is transmitted to them unless you click the link yourself. Once
you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider
applies.
8. Data security
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS
connection. The administration area is password-protected and secured
against automated password guessing.
9. Recipients of the data
Apart from my hosting provider, no one has access to the data
processed. No data is transferred to countries outside the European
Union.
There is no automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning
of Article 22 GDPR.
10. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
- have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for
the future. An informal message to the email address above is enough
for all of this.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection
supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your
habitual residence or of the alleged infringement. The authority
responsible for me is:
[Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit
Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany]
11. Changes to this policy
I will adapt this policy when the legal situation or the functions of
the website change. The version published here is the one that applies.
